I was sent to see dr. Strosberg by my oncologist for a consultation concerning carcinoids on many parts of my body. Because of a broken leg I was in rehab and unable to get to his office, therefore, we did a zoom meeting. All my records had been sent and I expected that Dr. Strosberg would have reviewed them before speaking to me. It was obvious that he did not even look at my records. I would like to tell Dr Strosberg that I first saw him in 10/2006 with metastatic carcinoid. I was part of his study on Mets on the female organs. I am doing well after more than 14 years on the Sando LAR 20 mg. I flew to FL to see him until my 1st husband died in 2011. I want him to know that my Mets are basically the same as in 2006, and thank him for the option of Sando before we knew for sure that it helped slow growth. I do not have the syndrome. I remarried in 2014. I do not know if he is still tracking our longevity.
