I have a torn pec muscle this guys says is a lymph node. Forget the resume of this guy. He tries to blind you with that and unless you’re a star athlete for Virginia tech or Boston Celtics then maybe he’s a good doc. But for common folks pick someone else or he will for you.
I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Maher. He is extremely skilled, attentive, thorough, caring and professional! Dr. Maher's treatment plan for my husband pre and post surgery was instrumental in my husband's recovery. He had multiple fractures in his leg as well as a blown knee but, with physical therapy and Dr. Maher's skill in the surgery room, he is well on his way to regaining full range of motion and use of his leg. Dr. Maher is THE best!
I had shoulder surgery on december 5th and I couldn't of found a better doctor . He explains everything that he is going to do in surgery & takes the time to answer your questions. I highly recommend dr maher. Update : it's been 3 years and no problems he is a very good doctor .
Dr. Maher saw my husband today , sat down and explained what his problems were and went over xrays etc. Gave us options and my husband and I were very impressed with him . Would recommend him for any orthopedic troubles you are having The clinic in blacksburg was very busy but they Were excellent as well very efficient and friendly.
