I have went to Dr. Nelson now for almost a year and a half. At the first appointment which was an annual physical it felt rushed. I then followed up with him a few months later for another issue. Each time I go to see Dr. Nelson I am more pleased with him than the previous time.
I was hemorrhaging after the birth of my daughter. He did absolutely no pelvic exam, did not look, nothing. He simply pressed on where my uterus is located, determined bleeding is normal after childbirth, and sent me on my way. No understanding of the importance of physical exams.
Dr Nelson is a great doctor. He takes the time to listen and sincerely cares.
I went to Dr. Nelson when my physician was already booked. I had what seemed to be a broken rib. Dr. Nelson's advice seemed on the mark and he did not put me through any unnecessary procedures. He could have sent me for a confirming Xray but told me that whether the bone was broken or not, the treatment would be the same for a simple injury or a break. He saved me the cost of the Xray and followed the treatment protocol as I would expect. I liked him a lot.
