Our family had never experienced such a heart breaking situation first hand. Thank you Dr Moreira, for being so compassionate, understanding and caring, not only towards my dad but also with the whole family. Though my dad was intubated and sedated you always took the time to talk to him and let him know what was going on, always treating him like a person and not just a body in a bed, thank you!!The family of J Socorro is forever grateful. He is a wonderful Dr, really gets to know his patients. Spends his time with you until all questions are answered, is all about cross team approach for overall great health. I never mind waiting as I don't feel rushed through my appointment and seen as an individual not just a disease.
My brother was a stem cell transplant patient under Dr. Moreira’s care. He kept reassuring my brother he was doing well - until he wasn’t. Somehow, he developed a cranial fungal infection, and died 14 days after the transplant. Never left the hospital. Disgraceful, how and why did this happen? Never received any answers.
