Over four years ago, Dr. Dort performed inguinal hernia repair surgery for me. The experience, from the initial meeting when I was in severe discomfort and he arranged or pulled strings to have the surgery done ahead if what had originally been scheduled, could not have been better. My PCP in Boston was very impressed with the result. When lingering tightness brought me again to Dr. Dort, he explained fully the pertinent issues, recommended against further treatment. I was referred to Dr. Dort by my PCP for a possible abscess. Dr. Dort fit me into his schedule and even accommodated me when I thought my appointment was 3 hours prior to when it was actually scheduled. He is so kind and gentle. He ended up having to make a small incision to drain the abscess. He explained everything he was doing as he was doing it. He was so patient with me and answered all of my millions of questions.
