I was very excited about booking an appointment here. I mean.. a French hair dresser in La Jolla!? Sweet. And the prices seemed fair. I wanted a change and had a specific picture in mind. However, it didn’t really matter what I wanted. I asked for several inches off and Jonathan kept trying to talk me out of it because keeping the length would “be more feminine”. I recommend this salon highly!! I had such a wonderful experience! I first spoke with a very kind gentleman at the French soap shop, and he personally recommended this hair salon as the best one in La Jolla. I’m so grateful I followed his advice. My hair was cut slightly shorter, and a glossing treatment was applied. The result is absolutely stunning. I am truly amazed by how beautiful my hair looks. Came into Johnathan’s salon and was looking for a quick simple haircut I am from out of town. I was super surprised how well Johnathan knew my hair and cut it the best it’s ever been. Johnathan is not only a great hair stylist but is super passionate about his work and loves to get to know you personally. 10/10 would recommend, it’s the best price and service in La Jolla.

Booked my first appointment with Jonathan today and had an amazing experience. This was the first time ever that my hairstylist had a vision for me which encompassed not just the structural aspects of my hair but all my physical attributes. I ended up doing a hair cut, a beard trim and a hair and beard color. Jonathan is professional, creative, observant, engaging, and extremely efficient and precise. All in all, I am now a fan. 5 stars all the way, two thumbs up.
