My appointment was to investigate the reason for frequent respiratory infections and nasal congestionHe came in and stood close to me and he fired salvos of questions and repeated questions after I answered them “How long did your MOH’s surgery take?” was repeated three times. He looked into my left ear and told me there was a large amount of wax and offered to remove it cautioning me to remain still. Dr Hatch saw me on an emergency basis on short notice and provided excellent treatment to diagnose my condition and provide the necessary treatment to resolve the matter.
She explained everything to me.
All the staff were wonderful, caring, professional yet personable all the time ready to answer any question I had. The entire office was efficient and moved me through the appointment without unreasonable and expected delay. The two people that stood out above all were Veronica and Cindy Reinert. Dr. YONEKAWA was professional, focused, and all the ready to answer any question I might have.
This was my first time seeing Dr Yonekawa. He was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. He really explains things well. He listened to my concerns, performed a thorough examination and immediately put in place a treatment plan. In fact, I had my first treatment that day. I was at risk for a retinal tear, and he performed a laser treatment that day to mitigate that risk. He and the nurses explained everything ahead of time in detail. I had vitreous detachments on both of my retinas about 18 months ago. Laser surgery was performed on the left eye for a retinal tear. I stilI have occasional floaters on the repaired eye but otherwise my vision is excellent. I now go for periodic checkups to make sure everything continues functioning properly. I believe I am receiving the best possible care. Dr Yonekawa is always friendly and seems to really enjoy helping people.
This entire staff is excellent - from the folks checking patients in all the way to the Doctor actually supervising my treatment. This is an A plus experience. The Doctor (Dr.Yonekawa) is caring and concerned — and thoroughly professional in every way. The staff working with Dr. Y are also extremely professional and very organized and efficient in everything they do. Dr Yonekawa is one of the very few ROP specialists in this region. I feel fortunate to have him as my physician. He is excellent!
