Update to Owner: I did not express concern about my failing crown to Dr. Carmichael because he really, really struggled to install the crown and was extremely rough on me (smashing my face in like a vice, pressing hard on facial bones and forcing my mouth open beyond its capacity). It was a horrible experience! If he couldn't do it right (after being a dentist for 40+ years) I was not about to retun to him. Had a crown put in 4.5 years ago by Dr. Robert Carmichael. I had nothing but problems with it. It recently came out and Dr. Carmichael has since retired and sold the practice to Dr. Backer. Neither of them will work on a solution with me. I paid $1200 for this crown that was not installed properly from the start and now have a $1400 estimate with a new dentist. Not good business! Crowns should last longer than 4.5 years! Go elsewhere.

Dr. Backer gave me 2 beautiful 3-unit yellow gold bridges last summer of 2022. They're holding up great 1yr later. I initially chose him because I was paying entirely out of pocket and most dental offices wouldn't even discuss prices until I paid for a consultation. His front desk easily explained over the phone a rough cost which ended up being the most competitive I'd heard. What I ended up paying was about the same. Thanks Dr. Backer! 🦷🪙

Very friendly and efficient dental assistants. The dentist does a good job. I recieved a crown and had minimal issues with it. Bill payment online is a little confusing. They don't have a website listed on the billing statement, but they do have a number to call and the ladies at the front desk are quick to point you in the right direction. I had to guess what my account number was once I went to the right place, after a couple of tries I figured it out (I hope).

It was seven years since I went to the dentist. I was really nervous but the moment I walked in the door they reassured me I was going to be okay. They were funny, down to earth, and put me at ease. I even got a new oral b electric toothbrush because it was my first cleaning!! Merry Christmas to me!! I will definitely be going back again.
