I went into the ER last night. The past few days I had been having a hard time breathing followed by some other dysautonomia symptoms like fainting. When I was trying to explain that to Jonathan he interrupted me and said “but why are you here now” (I was quite literally explaining to him why I was there). It's always frustrating when a doctor, or in this case- just a nurse, thinks their ego is more important than their patients wellbeing. We came in hoping for answers to a challenging health concern, and left feeling talked down to and completely dismissed.
