Horrific experience. When he moved from Pulmonology to sleep I got a new pulmonologist. He instantly started treatment for a serious, progressive lung disease. No cure but can be successfully managed when started when it’s mild. After searching back through his clinical notes I found out he knew I had it for 4 years and he never told me or treated me. I saw Dr Brewer on 9/9/25 for my annual Medicare check. I have been having severe insomnia and my husband asked about a short term sleep aid until I could see my neurologist for issues that came up on my MRI. Dr. Brewer was very rude to my husband, and told my husband the appointment was for me, not my husband. Dr Brewer refused to consider anything to help me sleep, so my husband got a little agitated with Dr Brewers attitude. Dr. Brewer has been amazing helping me with my sleep issues. Very honest, straightforward, and professional. He also genuinely cares about my treatment and is excellent in his follow- up as well as addressing any concerns I have with a solid commitment to get the answers I need. I highly recommend!
Jonathan Brewer has been horrible to work with! No concept of integrity or honesty. If you have any other options, at least look at them. Passive aggressive comes to mind. If I can just save just one person the aggravation I’ve experienced it’s worth writing my first negative complaint I’ve ever posted. Look for integrity and honesty in a doctor.
