He is a terrible doctor.He doesn’t listen to patient relations or patients needs and requests.
Worst doctor on the planet do not choose him very rude doctor made me cry he said hurtful things to me and I have a disability. He won’t let me work with his physician assistants. Very bad go somewhere else

It took a while to get to see him but it was worth it. Dr. Carter took his time to explain everything to me. He did an excellent job. Highly professional, skilled and a great person to talk too. To put it simply, he really cares.
I traveled to SF from Washington in order to find the right surgeon to repair my rare Morgagni diaphragmic hernia. I am so glad I found Dr. Carter at UCSF Medical Center! He was incredibly kind and professional and completed the surgery without incident. I highly recommend Dr. Carter and the UCSF team. They are all top notch!
