Excellent reputation. He spent a lot of time explaining my complex eye disease. Performed surgery that restored my vision. I an indebted to him and would strongly recommend him to others.
My experience was great. I visited two other specialist for a complex dislocated lense and sac due to a trans injury a year earlier, I was referred to Dr. Rubenstein and he corrected my issue after I went 6-8 months blind in my left eye. Although office wait times can be extensive my surgical experience was extremely good as were the results. I am extremely grateful to have been given the opportunity to have my vision restored by Dr. Rubenstein.
Dr. Rubenstein gave me the wrong prescription the first visit. Went back and he said he was going to "punt" me to another doctor because I was too complicated. Nice. But I could hear his staff in the hallway worrying about how they were going to get all his patients seen because he wanted to get out of there asap. So I left, very upset for making the trip, waiting for over an hour, and being "punted" because he wanted to get out of there.
