I use to go to a church group with Jon and his children when I was small and was close with his youngest daughter. My family and i recently moved to erin. My fiancee is in construction and got a piece of something in his eye, he went to the orangeville hours where he was left waiting for hours, and ended up leaving it in his eye. Dr Walcott saw me in an urgent situation when my regular Optometrist could not take me. I have an infected gland in my eye but had no idea what was going on. The staff are lovely, the office administrator could not be more welcoming and polite. Dr Walcott explained everything he was doing and was extremely gentle. He also has a great sense of humour. I am actually going to transfer to this office. Smaller, patient care is priority and just over all a better small town feel experience.
It’s not every day you come across someone as kind as Jon Walcott. In the middle of a busy life and on his weekend, no less, he made the time to see my son. That kind of commitment and care is incredibly rare these days, and it greatly appreciated. Highly recommend Dr. Walcott to anyone looking for not only an exceptional optometrist, but one that still cares.
