Dr. Emerton provides the most thorough evaluation of patients each and every time you visit. He doesn't hesitate to refer you, at least in my particular case, to the best specialist in either the local area or as far away as necessary to treat your medical issues. He is the best General Practitioner I have had in a great many years. When you are in your senior years, as I am, it gives you great confidence knowing you will be evaluated and either treated or referred as necessary. Thank you Dr. Emerton.
Office staff can make or break a doctor. This office staff is extremely rude. I visited his practice once and left never to return after experiencing his rude office staff. My husband continued to go there. Now that the PA retired, my husband will be leaving finally. I am so glad my husband will be changing doctors. If the doctor cannot that see his staff are the problem, he needs a reality check.
Dr Emerton is great I have been seeing him for years. Office staff is super rude.
I have been going to Dr. Emerton for quite a while and he is an excellent family doctor. He has been able to diagnose serious health issues i have had whereas the local hospital could not after 6 hours in their emergency room. When referrals to specialist are required, he does so without hesitation. I have found him to be an extremely competent family doctor and trust his diagnosis 100%. As far as the office personnel and nurse, they have always been polite and very helpful to me.
Doctor Emerton is a great Doctor but his staff is horribly rude. They even will snap and yell at you when they get in "one of their attitudes". I've been treated incredibly rude by Amy the nurse and the front desk receptionist on more than one occasion. Also if you ever see another Doctor for anything, they will not see you again. I was never told that there so when they couldn't take my new insurance I saw someone else once. Decided I would rather pay Emerton out of pocket and they said no.
