I have been a patient of Dr Lamwatt for 20+ years and after today that will no longer be the case. On a few occasions I have tolerated the rude office manager. Today was it. They have now changed policy were you can no longer keep your same hygienist that you have been going to since inception - Debbie is wonderful and I will miss her! Last month I had x-rays done and again last week had another x-ray. I am sharing this review because although we have gone to Dr. Lamwatt for years and find him to be honest, friendly, competent, and never one to gouge patients or push for unnecessary procedures, it is the front office staff that leaves a lot to be desired. Communication with them most often lacks professionalism or clarity. Excellent dentist, but awful office staff!!! The clerical staff is rude, condescending, and utterly incompetent. The inept and inefficient actions of the office staff make this place hard to even frequent as a patient.

Felt like a cash grab. A $5 fee to even be seen? Not a co pay, but an “inflation fee” is something I’ve never seen. Friendly staff, but I had work done that was unsatisfactory and later needed fixed. Friendly people, not the best work, in my experience.
