I was charged almost $600 for the tech to bolt on 2 capacitors. Both of them can be purchased for less than 100. Then he tries to sell me a 7k system. Is this normal??? Seems very high.

Our Heat went out and we had to rely on our gas fireplace until the repair was complete which would last from Friday-Tuesday I called jolly on Friday and asked them to inspect my gas fireplace to make sure it was operational since this was our first time using it. Jolly set an appointment up for that day and guaranteed someone would be by today to look at it. No one called or showed up. Took off work for a 7:00-12:00 window. No one showed up and no update as of 4:00 pm.
Service could not have been more top notch. We called on a Sunday and within 30 minutes, we had a contractor working on the AC. I can’t say enough nice things about the contractor. His name was Kris. Our AC was short cycling, so he diagnosed the issue immediately and got it fixed. He also went back and double checked everything to make sure it was the only thing causing the issue. Since it was technically a call-back, he didn’t charge us a dime. Thank you, Kris and Jolly!
