$200 for "service call" where unit was not fixed and customer thought we were just working up an estimate. Be very careful of having a technician come out for a "service call". A technician came to my house to assess my HVAC system that was not running cold. He ended up finding that there was no freon and a leak. Told me he needed a part for the leak and would give me an estimate. Closed the system up. We also spent some time discussing possibly replacing the unit because it is older.
