Hard to beat the setting Jolie has over PCH and the ocean, but they still need to provide better training to their staff, and the food is hit or miss. If you know what to order, it's a win. We have been several times, but the last time for brunch was the best. We both had different variations of their omelettes, and both were great, along with the breakfast potatoes. Low quality and overpriced food, watery drinks, but great views.
Was helped by a person named Rosa. She had difficulty understanding English, she was slow to serve and help, and seemed generally uninterested in doing her job because she was impatient for some reason. Recommend replacing her with someone that takes initiative.
My partner and I spent a week in LA, and came down to Huntington beach on a whim after a long day in Santa Monica at the pier. I made a same day reservation for us at the restaurant which was super convenient. The setting is quite nice and feels a bit more upscale than your average semi-outdoor restaurant. Jolie is a nice little spot for great food, fantastic drinks, and sunset views. We recently went for a family dinner (larger group) and made reservations ahead of time. We had drinks upstairs and had the best time listening to music played by a dj as we hung out. When the rest of our party arrived we were sat quickly and our waitress was on it.
