I am thankful to Dr. Henshaw and her nurse, Rhonda, for the excellent care I have received. Each step in confirming my likely diagnosis was explained. After confirming the diagnosis, every question I had was answered. Every question my husband had was answered. Dr. Henshaw explained every option I had for dealing with my diagnosis and the likely results. She spent the time needed to put me at ease with dealing with my diagnosis.
Dr. Henshaw did an excellent job of teaching and my treatment options.
I am 90 years of age and have been blessed with wonderful health care during my life. After my first visit with Dr. Henshaw I felt the same way.
After a "routine" mammogram 6 years ago, I faced a big decision about surgery on my breast. Dr. Henshaw gave her unbiased opinion about possible surgeries and my husband and I felt her explanation was very thorough indeed. Along with support material she provided in a binder, I was able to make an informed decision about which surgery best suited me. Now at my annual check-up, she checks my breast tissue and answers my questions. I'm so lucky to have her for my physician and my friend.
Dr. Henshaw helped me to be calm. She told me about what to expect and that my family could be a part of the decisions to be made after results. I talked to another patient of Dr. Henshaw's and she holds Dr. Henshaw in the highest regard.
Dr. Henshaw is an excellent physician. She takes her time and explains everything in a manner that is easily understood. She is very personable. I highly recommend Dr. Henshaw.
Dr Henshaw saw me after I received the diagnosis of invasive breast cancer. She thoroughly went over the diagnosis and treatment. She did an excellent job of explaining the diagnosis and treatment plan.
Compassionate well trained breast surgeon with extensive experience. Honestly and openly discusses treatment options. Would not consider going anywhere else for breast cancer surgery and support.Highly recommend
I have been to Dr. Henshaw for 4 procedures; two needing simple surgery and two involving breast cancers. I have recommended her to several of my close friends. We all agree that first and foremost, she is an excellent surgeon. In addition she and her nurse , Rhonda, are extremely personable and caring!
