A lot of fun!! – A friends mother in law was visiting from Germany. We decided to take both of our mother in laws to Joker's for a fun night out. I really didn't know what to expect. We had a really great time! The duelers were so funny and we loved the music! We requested a few songs (with a $5.00 tip). One of the duelers even greeted my mother in law in German! Best for your Buck I always leave Jokers smiling. The entertainment is hilarious & the service is great! It's cheap too! Don't miss the Halloween party! I have never seen such great costumes!
Beating the Winter Doldrums Having relocated to NC from Boston, my husband and I were down in the dumps with the cold weather and the search for employment. We went to Jokers Dueling Piano Bar last night and never stopped laughing or singing or clapping our hands. What a tremendous show! Lots of laughs, great entertainment! Can't wait to go back.
Joker's Dueling Piano Bar is Fantastic! As a fan of dueling piano bars, I have been to many different ones from Tampa to Chicago. Jokers is by far the best dueling piano bar I have ever been to. They sing well; they very rarely don't know a song; they are very interactive with the crowd, and the best part is that they are hilarious. I wouldn't go if you are easily offended, but I always have a blast, so I try to go every time I am in NC.
Joker's Dueling Piano Bar is Hilarious !!! I went for my 21st birthday and had a blast I had a party of seven and had no problems with seating. It was a riot, I highly recommend it but it is a little vulgar and crude My face hurt from laughing so much. They do allow smoking and it can get a little stifling, but I and everyone in my party had a wonderful time.
Okay I was there that night that the piano guy "supposedly" gay bashed those girls. And if my memory serves me right the girls stayed there all FREAKING NIGHT!!!! They were obnoxious and rude to people around them. It seemed like everytime I turned around they were being asked by the staff, who I might add were very patient with these ladies, to calm down. We will never go back to Jokers We have been to Jokers many times over the last 2 years and often take friends/family there when visiting from out of town, but Friday was our very last time. My niece turned 21 on 7/10/09 and we had about 15-20 people there to celebrate. The back room was empty and we were the only ones occupying it. We were all sitting around several tables and the birthday girl was dancing around our tables talking to all of us and being silly (after all, it was her 21st birthday). Fun place to hang with friends We took a group to Joker's just this past Friday night...and we all had the time of our life's. Beware of the foul language though. If you are easily offended by vulgar antics you may want to steer clear of this place.
gay bashers – the staff was very nice and friendly, however, the "piano duelers" made fun of some women who were gay to their face. The duelers were told that they were being inappropriate and they proceeded to continue to make fun of the people involved. I've been to many piano bars, and I was disgusted by the lack of propriety displayed here. The manager didn't have an appropriate attitude- I was pretty much shocked in general.
