This was my first time here for brunch , the atmosphere was amazing and the appetizers were great, I would recommend the calamari, deviled eggs and the shrimp and grits. The waitress Chelsea went above and beyond. I will give this place five stars despite my Steak coming out well done instead of medium however, the situation was handled very properly with such great care from the manager Mark and Chelsea. Sad to say, but Jo Jo’s is consistently…inconsistent. 45 minutes to get our Sunday brunch meal (while half the tables around us were empty). Others seated after us got their meals before us. My lobster avacodo toast was cold (the poached egg, slightly warm, the rest, even the toast, room temperature). Our server (at the bar) could have looked out for us and checked with kitchen, but no, we had to ask him when our meal was coming. His answer? “The kitchen was just making the toast.”. I'm so confused as to how to create this review. We had 4pm reservations this past Monday because we saw the social hour menu that looked so inviting. We sat at a table in the bar area, and Max was our waiter. We had heard so many good things about your restaurant. We were pleased to choose it as part of my mother's 90th birthday celebration and mine as well. We were seated promptly provided with menus.
