The man on the phone was very extremely rude and he would not talk to me since I am not a contractor. He actually hung on me when I was talking to him. I wouldn't even give him a star if I could. He doesn't deserve one!!!
Called the store gave them part number which they crossed referenced and told me the one they had would work! Well it was 2 inches too long and would not fit. My handyman just tried to fit it in case, did not hook anything up. $275 later they would not exchange or return to stock! They would not even try to negotiate something!side note their competitor had the same part $160 but had to order it and we were in a blizzard!
Needed an A/C capacitor for my home a/c, they had them and were willing to sell them. Unfortunately i would say they gouged the crap out of me. $100 for a part that i could get online for 20-30. If it weren't 100 degrees i would not have purchased. Gent that checked me out wasn't overly friendly and they were not all that helpful. Would do business with only if i HAD to.
Idiot tried to tell me he couldnt sell refrigerant without a license. Something the same as walmart auto refrigerant. hmmm
I am just a woman who needed to buy an air return. Home Depot, Loews, and Fergusons didn't have them in the size that I needed. Fergusons told me to go to Johnstone Supply in Escondido. Got there and I got up to the counter and had the rudest man ever. He first told me that they don't sell to the public only licensed contractors. I said that's ok, if you could just tell me if you have the size I need I can tell my contractors (who are licensed) they have to go pick up the air return. He said he can't do that. What? had parts in stock, at a good price, and they were very nice
Han an issue with a motor that was received damage from poor packaging. Called the owner of the store and he refunded the purchase and agreed it could have been handled better. Store manager could have been a little more helpful and saved everyone time.
Best supply house in south bend. Best staff. Great help with any questions you might have.
