I was really let down by my experience with Johnston Opals. The first time, my opal ring had to be reset because the opal fell out. Luckily I noticed and found the stone, otherwise it would have been lost. They fixed it, but that should never have happened in the first place. Unfortunately, the issues didn’t stop there. If I could give 0 stars I would. My family purchased gold opal earrings for me for Christmas. Knowing I dont take my jewellery off they chose solid gold over gold plated. However 3.5mths later i notice a clouding on one of the earrings. I contact Johnston opals to be told, in an unfriendly tone that they should not get wet and the water has separated the layers. They have really good collection of Opals. Loose and Jewels. We both three different pieces. They gave it for a pretty good price!
Beautiful item . I’ve made this order and received it with black stains on the necklace chain , and have sent to customer service via emails on 24/7/25. one via personal email one via website , haven’t heard back in a week . No choice but I have to post it here to get the attention from your team, kindly response if you have seen this for order #1187 .
Can't fault the customer service. I was very surprised to read other reviews, as my experience with them has been nothing but positive. I ordered some earrings for Mothers Day which Australia Post lost. After waiting patiently for a few weeks to see if 1st pair were found, a 2nd pair of earrings were sent out and thankfully these were received quickly with no issues. Earrings are just gorgeous. I will definitely be purchasing more items in the future.
