If you get COVID 19...DON'T GO THERE! Dr. Manfredonia is very unprofessional. He became enraged and started screaming at me when inquiring about my care. He also falsified my final discharge papers because I walked out of this horrible place after not being treated after 24 hrs after admitted for covid pneumonia. Doctors are incompetent! Couldn’t even put my shoulder back into place after making me wait 3 hours with no pain medication. They need shut down. All that new construction and the worst doctors ever. Don’t care about there customers.
Crisis Services sent me to the ER. For 6 months I've been trying to find a primary dr, so I can get a referral for pain management. I'm new to the area, disabled, on SSD & drs aren't accepting me because I have chronic pain. Took my brother to ER 8/2/2020. Had been in waiting room over an hour when we heard another woman complaining they had been waiting over 3 hrs & elderly gentleman who she had brought in had broken arm & in a lot of pain. We left, drove to Mountain Home & was immediately seen & treated. Emergency care is not an emergency at Johnston Memorial Hospital, seemed very uncaring & unconcerned. Have heard for years, it's a dying hospital, don't go there.
I went to the Acorn Drive location on Saturday for an eye infection. It was about 20 minutes before they closed and they clearly had no interest in helping me. My eye was very inflamed. The person looked in my ears, and that's all she did. I would have thought you'd look more closely at my eye. I spent about 5 minutes with her, and she wrote an antibiotic prescription for me and also told me it may be eye shingles. For the love of all that is good, if you care about your loved one or yourself do not go to this hospital. After having to send my mother back to the hospital by ambulance twice after being sent home from a two week stay. I still had to tell the doctor on call what was wrong because he wanted to send her right back again. After telling him what he should have already seen, he said he would fix it and call me back. Kelly is dr. Norris’s nurse up in women’s healthcare group. She’s rude and likes to argue with everyone, she won’t even own up to her own mistakes, we’re all human mistakes happen but don’t try to blame it on the pharmacist when she clearly didn’t order it right.
