I brought in my encore 32 in stand on mower to get a $3.00 tension spring replaced which was visible and no disassembly needed to repair and a leaking transmission examine(52.5hrs on machine). This is a $6,000+ machine that i purchased from them at a upcharged price based on thier SO CALLED excellent parts and maintenance service. I stated multiple times that im bringing the machine in because of the warranty and i did not want to touch it due to the warranty. i informed them all it needed is the spring and transmision leak.... read more

My zero-turn mower needed a new carburetor and I took it to Johnson’s Turf and Irrigation. I also wanted them to change engine oil and filter. They charged me $290.00 for anew carburetor that I priced online for $66. That was the price of the part only. They said that put it in correctly but left a hose clamp loose. Also during the oil change they did not put the required 2 quarts of oil into the engine. I have a Troy Built walk-behind push mower with electric start that I bought from Lowe’s about 7-8 months ago. About 3 months ago the started quit engaging but it would still run like a top if started with the pull string. I got around to calling Troy Built and confirmed that it was under warranty. I called Lowe’s and again confirmed that they handled the warranty and it was covered up to $120 for an initial repair. They said to bring it to the store and they would arrange the repairs.
