We called ahead the day before and asked them to hold a specific model for us based on their inventory. We drove two hours to get there and that trailer was parked right outside their office door on our arrival. Immediately upon walking in the door, I asked the elderly man there if they sold trailers? He looked at me with a non-verbal reply (don't waste my time are you here to buy a trailer or waste my time). Johnson Trailer was supposed to have 2 trailers inspected and ready to go when we got there because we were driving quite a distance with two one ton pickups. Got there to find one trailer with front end damage (you can't tell me they didn't know the damage was there if they infact did their inspection, but hoping we wouldn't notice). They were unwilling to give ANY discount on the trailer or work with us on the price of a larger trailer. Called to get a price on a trailer and whoever I spoke to (some older man) was downright rude and arrogant right from the get go. So glad I had this experience before I bought. Can't imagine how horrible they would be to deal with if I had an issue.
Great Customer Service.When I ran into trouble on the road, they were right there to help me out. They replaced parts quickly and free of charge even though they and their product were not the source of the problem.
"Avoid at all costs." If your looking for a stock trailer you might fare well. Might is a leap of faith though. If you have any questions be prepared to pull teeth and receive the worst costumer service available. Looking for a place to spend your hard earned money and be made to feel you're putting someone out for the product they sale then you've found the right place. Good luck..............you'll need it if you shop here.
If you want full service, go somewhere else. Although the trailers manufactured for them are very good, their support is far less that I would have hoped for. Not just the fact that they are arrogant enough that they feel they don't have to answer questions - "there are the trailers, go take a look." I guess I was an interruption. I have purchased two trailers from them in the past. They did not help with the registration on either trailer. They did not even give me the forms to fill out. I had to tack this down on my own.
