Terminated husband after life threatening emergency surgery. Two physicians noted he needed more recovery time, and would not release him to return for 10 more weeks. JEI would not extend FMLA nor grant him any type of medical leave. First they sent a text, then emailed…both containing termination letter. Took two weeks to receive COBRA information. Found out JEI sold to APEX and the acquisition took place 22 days after termination occurred. Would rate ZERO STARS if possible.
