I had a very disappointing experience living here at the Huntington metro area. There is constant noise, and the environment often feels unsafe, with frequent disturbances around the building. Overcrowding in some units creates additional issues, especially late at night, making it difficult to rest or feel comfortable in your own home. I have lived in one of their Arlington units for over 1.5 years. JA has been a fantastic property manager. They provide clear communication, provide thorough upkeep of their properties, and the maintenance team is incredibly responsive to issues that arise within the apartment. Huge shout out to the full team. Very glad to have found this place!

I was thinking to rent from these people late last year until I spoke and corresponded in writing with one Nathan, apparently the manager of this property. This guy is the most disrespectful and unprofessional individual I have ever come across with. I confronted him with pictures, receipts and electronic correspondence by a former tenant, who shared the reality of this place with me. I have been living at Johnson Associates since late June of 2025, and I cannot get enough of how the property management staff—Nathan, Grace, and the maintenance crew — have been very attentive, caring , and responsive to any issues or inquiries I have had regarding my apartment. Wakefield Manor is such a gem! I stayed here for about a year and a half in a 1 BR while working in downtown DC before moving out of state for a new job, and cannot thank the management team enough for the great experience. Units: SO spacious, bright, airy, and clean. Especially considering the super reasonable rent, you get so many windows and square footage while still being close to public transit and grocery stores etc. Every room in my 1 bedroom apartment had at least one window.
