Tasty Burritos – If it hadn't been for the recommendation of a co-worker I would never have looked twice at this mini-mart eatery. (emphasis on the mini.) We went at noon thirty only to find a crowd out front on the sidewalk and a line nearly out the door. I ordered the kimchi burrito. It was warm, spicy and tasty. What is not to like about spicy beef and tangy cabbage? Despite the crowd my order was filled promptly. I love to see a vibrant mom and pop shop like this one. Eating there made me happy.
Homemade bi bim bap and store-bought apple fritters? Find both at this Korean-influenced FiDi carry-out lunch spot. – It's easy to imagine the sort of wrong turns a Korean restaurant/mini-mart/American deli could take, and yet John's manages to stay busy on all fronts.
