Jen and Janet did an amazing job on our wood tabletop. It was worn and desperately needed to be restored. Not only were they available within a few days, which fit our timeline, they brought the table back to life. It looks so nice and it's amazing how they were able to blend the colors to get it back looking original again. We will definitely be repeat customers, should the need arise. Great job ladies!
The finish on our red mahogany handrail and volute was worn and suffered several attempts at renewal before we found Johns Island Woodworks. Janet and Jen saw how to go about refinishing it to match the other side and used their soft touch turn out a beautiful match.
I had seven pieces of furniture that needed lots of TLC as well as repair and refinishing when I moved here four years ago. The glowing reviews I found for JIW were enough for me to entrust them with my family treasures. I was not in any hurry to get the pieces back and they took great care in bringing each and every piece back to life. Jen and Janet's work was incredible! Highly recommend their impeccable wood work. I came to them to see if they could make me a very custom set piece for a stage production, and it went way past my expectations. They were super communicative, detailed, and finished the project very quickly. Highly recommend John's Island wood work for any wood project!
