All staff are dull and poor communication. Front desk woman (Hispanic) is rude, cold, unfriendly and NO SMILE. That attitude made patients feel unwelcome. The nurse (Chinese) is unprofessional, unfriendly, and no energy whatsoever. This is my first appointment and I am so disappointed and displeased. I would never recommend this office to anyone. ONE STAR MINUS
Hopkins Family Physicians in Columbia are excellent. I've seen 3 different physicians and dozens of nurse technicians at this office over the past 20 years. I honestly can't understand some of my peers complaints here. "They asked me my height instead of measuring it"?! Ask them to measure it then! To the person who thought she scheduled a physical but was not examined: It wasn't a physical! Check with insurance. If you go in for a specific illnesss or concern, e.g., a rash, you don't also get a physical like it's the 20th C... read more
Their phone system needs work. I have been trying to contact a member of my care team (option 2 on the phone menu). Sometimes you can get someone right away, but most of the time they're busy with patients and you're on hold (which is totally understandable, it's a doctor's office). Unfortunately, after 10 minutes of being on hold a robotic voice tells you "we're sorry, but this operation cannot be completed" and hangs up on you! Don’t come here if you want a physical. The doctor will not touch you. They don’t measure your height, they will just ask you. The doctor didn’t even look down my throat or check my lymph nodes. There’s no need to come 15 mins early, you will be waiting 30 mins past your time anyway. If you need to go to Labcorp or get any blood work done…this is the place. If you want the doctor to look at your body and ask you if you're in any pain or discomfort, don’t come here and waste your insurance/ co pay. If your under 30, they will... read more
