The Johns Hopkins Allergy and Immunology Clinic is lost. I have waited for seven months to simply have Dr. Azar review my records and get an appointment. No amount of talking to patient coordinator, scheduling or to his nurse mattered. This is not a place to go for patient care.

Pissed off doesn't even begin to describe how I feel about this place. Robert at the front desk is incredibly rude unprofessional, and one of the most unhelpful healthcare professionals I've ever encountered. I truly do not understand how he manages to maintain employment as a medical receptionist when he has absolutely no knowledge of how medical scheduling works, not to mention his horrendous attitude

I originally was referred and called on 1/16/24. Called again on 1/23 and 1/24 to confirm they received all my documents from other providers and to get an update. I was told I would hear from them in 2 weeks. I called on 2/20 for an update as I hadn’t heard from them, meanwhile my symptoms have not subsided and in fact have gotte... read more

I have a rare immune deficiency and Dr. Azar is supposed to be the expert in this. I knew that I had exhausted all options and wanted to start immunoglobulin infusions. I pushed for this from the start and for 3 years before giving up as he loved to gaslight and make useless suggestions for things that I had already tried. Every appointment he would tell me that we have to wait for things to get worse before starting the infusions. I was having infections within two weeks (maximum) of stopping antibiotics. I don't see how th... read more
