CLOSED FOR THE SEASON, Thank you for another great summer! An Outer Banks tradition, John's has been a favorite with locals and vacationers since 1977! Serving Fresh Tuna and Fried Dolphin served with homemade tartar sauce or fresh made cocktail sauce. Also available many flavor of malt, fresh fruit milkshake and other tasty ice cream treats. John's gives free ice cream to dogs, horses, rabbits, skunks and any other type of pet that you would bring to John's would earn you a "puppy cup."

The best dolphin sandwiches, and the crabcake sandwich is very good too.
I've been coming to the OBX since the 70s and at least once a year for the last 25 years and John's is one of the places I must go every time I'm here. It's the only fried fish I have all year and it's awesome!! P.S. the shakes rock too! 🤘🙂🤘
