Brought my car in because it was having trouble starting and the engine light - throttle body code came on. I was told the battery was too low to diagnose and quoted $400 just to install a battery we would bring, then later $750 for their battery and install. Mind you, I drive a Jeep Cherokee latitude 2.4 cyl. Batteries cost $200. I declined. The best mechanics and service in midland.
What a joke. He had my truck for three days, did no repairs, charged me $274, gave me a big apologetic smile and said he was sorry when I came to pick it up. What’s worse it was a simple a/c problem. I had to call him, he only returned my call and never initiated the conversation. Stay away if you’re not a personal friend of this guy. Stay far away.
Just had a tune up and other repairs to my 2008 GMC Envoy. Johns Automotive was very thorough, and kept me well informed of everything they were doing to my vehicle. I am very pleased with their work. My car runs like a new car now. I would definitely recommend them for any car repairs you need.
