Bought my first pistol here back in 1992, and subsequently became one of my favorite gun shops. However, it has recently come to my attention that you are banning guns, from a gun shop of all places, so I will look somewhere else to drop my money. Thanks for the past experiences, and I'm sorry your ever helpful staff might suffer due to the owner's questionable decisions. Not going to miss the cigarette smelling, tar covered clothing though.
Always have what you need with great service in every department
Honestly, I don't know what many people are complaining about. Every time I've gone there, they have been nothing but polite to me, my family and my friends. Every question asked has been answered with knowledge and tact. Reasonable prices and great characters.
We are from Houston, here visiting family for the Holiday weekend. From the moment we walked in the door at Johnny's True Value we obviously didn't know where to start looking for our whole list of needed supplies. The service from EVERY SINGLE employee was AMAZING. We never had to spend time looking for the items on our list bc we had someone to help us in all departments. thank you for making us feel welcome. We wish we could have you teach people back in Houston what customer service really means!
Service is good and willing to help you the only reason why i wont shop here is because of the prices. Their prices are raised up about 20% or more than where you would find them at Wal-Mart or Target. Other than that...good service and a good assorted selection.
