Called in order. Got a text it was ready. Got there and waited 30 min for them to put food in cups no apology from the lady at all. Told me 2x its almost out.
This was my go-to spot. I felt safe as a single female going here alone. Lastnight a group of guys bought rounds of drinks and skipped out. The bartender put it on my bill and insisted that I ordered all the drinks. I paid but you lost my trust and service.
The 95th Street Johnny’s Tavern in Overland Park KS has been my favorite late night spot to go relax over a glass wine and an appetizer, after a long day of work. Particularly as a widow adjusting to doing life alone, which can be very isolating. Walking in and receiving a warm greeting by name from the late night bar, staff, and being asked if I’d be having my usually glass of Cabernet, made me feel joyfully welcomed!
