Johnny's shrimp boat is a must try place it's definitely one of my favorites ... Good food and very friendly people with affordable prices..

You Love It or you LOVE it!!! My dad took us in the 70's when the plates were $2 each, located on 4th and Main. Dad order 10 plates, a plates for each of us, 2 plates each for himself and Raul <3 <3 <3 Thought of you Dad and enjoyed my meal... <3
I have eaten at Johnny's Shrimp Boat since the 50's when it was located on Main Street in downtown L.A. It's where I learned to love shrimp as a child. The shrimp today is made exactly the same as it was then. Yes, it's fried battered shrimp and it's goooood. The beans, rice and gravy are perfect sides and is the traditional way it's been served. They offer other sides like fries.
LOVE THIS PLACE...but got to love them shrimp tacos and shrimp in a basket. Lived in West Covina for over 10 years and been coming since then. Got to try them...
Well one day a friend post a picture of Jhonny shrimp boat and that she had eaten shrimp the rice and gravy and beans and I said "were is this place at I remember I used to eat at the one in L.A.and she said no there's one here in West Covina and I told her were about and she told me were so I drove all the way to Covina. I go there when I come down from South Lake Tahoe to Johnny's shrimp boat the food is so delicious just went this Sunday a very good service and very friendly people there thank you.
