Avoid from now on – My hubby and I went to Johnny's one afternoon for lunch. It wasn't very crowded. We orderded the special (2 slices and a drink) and sat back to wait. And wait we did! After 45 minutes, we left $ on the table for our drinks and walked out. Not only did we have to wait an inordinant amount of time, but the waitress never came over to apologize for the wait. Satisfies Pizza Craving, But Could Be Better – I live right behind Johnny's so my boyfriend & I have been there a few times for pizza and beer. But I would say one of the biggest factors in us choosing Johnny's in Towne Lake is the proximity to our house. If there were a Mellow Mushroom right next door, we'd go there. Great Pizza – If you are looking for a place to go for good food on a low budget; this is the place. The pizza is the best in Douglasville.
Terrible Service & Food – I recently visited this restaraunt and the service was terrible. I waited an hour for a takeout pizza only to get home and find out that the pizza wasnt even done. The crust was raw in the middle. Wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. Yuck!
Best average pizza in area – Jonny's has picked up where Mellow Mushroom has flavor and quality has left off. It is my favorite average pizza joint in the city.
earlelmoeidecker – A very friendly fast pace restaurant, with great food and drinks. The PIZZA (anyway you want it) is great, but the SUBS are better. The DRINKS come in large plastic cups, the BEER in cold bottles or cold mugs. The PEOPLE that work there make it happen. Try the Oreo Cheese Cake for DESSERT.
The BOMB Pizza :) – If you are craving some really good HOT TASTING Pizza...this is where you need to go :) Not only is there food is off the chain...but there service is quick and friendly.
LOVE this pizza – Johnny's is the best! They totally rock. The white pizza is awesome and where else can you get good spinach, feta cheese, artichoke hearts and sundried tomatoes on a pizza. Certainly not at any of the national chains!
