What I love about Johnny’s is that there is something for everyone. A decadent cheeseburger with a root beer float to an organic farm to table salad. Service is fast and friendly. The atmosphere is warm and nostalgic.

Perhaps our last meal ever at Johnny’s - lately the meals are lackluster at best. Lukewarm coffees and tea; cantaloupe and watermelon slices with freezer burn; dry banana bread, burnt bacon; challah that looks like Wonder Bread; no silverware given to mom and server who appears she really doesn’t want to be here. It’s too bad, we used to love it here.
I always want to love this place, but inevitably leave disappointed. It is not so bad that I won't return because I am a sucker (lol). I stopped by for the Half Sandwich & Soup and was not thrilled. The Penicillin Soup was out of this world delicious (hence a return trip), but the Chicken Salad was not at all described. I specifically ordered it because of the menu description, but there were absolutely no scallions and only one itty bitty walnut. Change the description if you can't offer the product. Sad :-(
