DO NOT BOOK AN EVENT HERE My beautiful friend and her husband booked this venue for a baby shower this coming weekend. The venue was to look after the food and beverage for the ~200 expected attendees; many of which are flying interstate and internationally to attend. With 2 days notice, this venue CANCELLED on my 8 month pregnant friend leaving them 2 days to find another venue plus cater for it. This is an absolute joke and having now read some similar reviews regarding lack of refunds, I’m even more concerned.

We organised a big event later this year and after payment Michael became almost uncontactable. We initially gave him the benefit of the doubt, then more and more red flags appeared. We decided to pull the plug and request for a refund 4 months ahead of the event, michael agreed and we are still waiting. All we want is our money back, but looks like we may need to persue the matter legally in the future.

**WARNING** A very disappointing experience with Johnny's Emporium. We had reached out to Michael in March of this year to organise an event for November this year. He was very fast to respond to the enquiry and the deposit was paid shortly after that. However..that's when things went downhill. Michael's ability to respond to messages to progress plans was very poor and would take 4-6 weeks for a response. As you can imagine, planning a big event is very stressful and Michael's lack of response further added to this stress. ... read more

WARNING!!!!!! Please read reviews before booking this place my daughter is waiting for her deposit back after cancelling in the correct time frame (as others are) This will be taken further !
