Johnny has pleased and surprised me now on multiple re-upholstery projects. First on a contemporary wood frame sofa that he recovered with an interesting flair. A different look than I expected with chunky bolsters and pleated corners on the cushions. I enjoy it everyday. He completely restored antique chairs from a synagogue. Stripping and refinishing the ornate wooden frames and upholstering them for their home in a new building. I had gone there to get an antique chair reupholstered. He picked out this great fabric for me and did such an awesome job!!!
When I went to his shop to advise that the piping ripped on a chair he did in May 2014 and barely used he asked for pics and then did not respond. When I returned to shop, he refused to stand behind work and told me he did not know what I did to the chair!!!!! He wanted to charge me for repair!! I am so disheartened and never expected this based on my initial impression of him. Now I have to take to small claims court.....ugh.
