My family have a very nice time here each visit. Good food and good service.
The staff was nice & the food had good flavor, but I found the meat to be a bit dry & stringy. I'll stick with my LC's bbq.
The food was great as was the service. Lots of great choices on the menu.
Awesome spare ribs and brisket. Full rack makes two layers just to fit on the plate.
Th pulled pork sandwich was really good! Would definitely come back. Friendly staff also.

We've been frequenting Johhny's since 1983. I've tried all the local "famous" establishments in town and it always comes back to Johnny's BBQ is our favorite BBQ joint in KC. Now, living about 3 hours from KC, every time we come close, we stop in, dine, and take home some sliced brisket for the next week. Great BBQ and great people. If you've never tried it...give them a try.
