Great BBQ at great prices Johnny's BBQ has great flavor, portions are adequate, and the price is right. Our family likes all the sides, and the french fries are one of my favorites. I like the ham, hubby likes the ribs. Eat in or take out, it's all good.
Johnnys is the best BBQ in Olathe I recently went and got a to go order at Johnnys. They have the best smoked ribs. they are juicy and tender and just fall of the bone. The meat melts in your mouth. The prices are comparible to other bbq places in town. On Wednesdays and Saturdays they have slabs of ribs on sale for $11.50. The service is splendid and the food is awesome. A great family restaurant.
RecommendedWe ordered a thanksgiving turkey this year and it was super amazing, very flavorful, moist, and of course, deliciously smokey. Ordered it hot and ready and literal smoke came out when we opened it! Their regular menu is great too, we often get the ribs, and burnt end meal, and the baked beans are a family favorite.
Johnny’s BBQ provided a delicious buffet for our wedding reception that left our guests raving! We especially appreciated their personal touch of setting it up so beautifully; we had no work or worries!

Just as tasty as the Mission location. Sure do miss that one. It’s been over 6 months since I’ve had Johnny’s and it was just as I remember. 👍👍
We visited after seeing the Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives episode last night. We were not disappointed at all..the service and food was outstanding. We loved the ribs and baked beans (ended up taking a quart of them home). Can’t wait to go back and order the onion rings (the one on the combo plate was so good).
Best Sandwiches we’ve had in ages.. even AFTER the 30 minutes drive home!!
