The last night's of Johnny D's included the heart of why Community Music is the core of human culture. Thank you Clara, for your brief heartfelt interview at the close of the evening with Neon Grandma, their last evening performance. March 12th, 2016.
I spent a wonderful year working there in my mid 20's. I made life long friends because of its existence. They took a chance on a girl from So-Cal and gave me some of the most amazing memories in the process. It breaks my heart they are closing there doors. You guys will always hold a special place in my heart forever.
Why you put the rudest people on the host stand is beyond me, but putting on a comedy show here is a joke without a good punchline. Almost no seats with even less standing room, let alone a place to actually SEE the performer, and watered down drinks. No thanks.
Once a great spot for live music it's closed forever now :'( But Facebook thought it would be a good idea for me to write a review. So here it is.
