Looking for Head Cashier With Skills – Want to learn how not to hire, come to Johnnie's Pizza where the cashier does not recognize that there are more than 1 kind of 100 dollar bill in circulation. I came in to pay for a 22 dollar pizza with a 100 dollar bill, her response at 6pm is we don't have change for 100 dollars, what kind of pizza establishment does not carry change for 100 dollars? Its too bad because only 2 weeks ago I came in and spent 300 dollars for a Christmas party, and they didn't have a problem taking my 100... read more

Just love their service and food – Authentic Ravioli and veggie pizza. Just loved it. It is in my favourite list now.

Pizza and Salad – Pizza the way it should be done...Fresh and lots of toppings. The salads are overflowing...as is the vino and beer.

SoCal chain determined to provide a near-Big Apple pizza experience. – In Short For those accustomed to authentic New York pizzerias, entering Johnnie's induces an excruciating sense of déjà vu: black-and-white prints, checkerboard tablecloths, raucous music and, most notably, a heady waft of garlic and Romano cheese. New Yorkers swear it's the water that gives their pizza crusts that special "something," so Johnnie's has installed an exclusive water-filtration system. Specialty pizzas like the "white pie"--topped with garli... read more

Look elsewhere on the Promenade – If you're looking for NY style pizza Johnnies is far from it. I'm not sure what to make of their pizza. It's just decent pizza but it's not New York. If you want good NY style pizza and happen to find yourself in the valley around the Toluca Lake area, go up to Robano's and you'll get an authentic New York slice. Also, I found it extremely annoying that the waitress decided to add to the tip. Didn't discover it until I was reconciling my receipts with my statement. Johnnies, your food is oka... read more

Better go with Dominos – As much as I love the idea of great NY Pizza, this place definitely lost our Business. I run the event department at a large investment firm. We had them cater a business lunch for a large group. They arrived 54 minutes late, forgot to deliver half of the food, and when I spoke with the manager never recieved an apology, explanation or discount. Despite having a good location in the heart of LA's rich and famous, you're better off ordering with Dominos if you're looking for good service.

The service was prompt. – August 23,07 My Family and I decided to eat here that day. The garlic rolls were pretty thick, but they were good. My daughter, my husband & I had the pizza. I wonder if the staff who made the pizza is really from New York? Decent pizza. They could of put more toppings on it for the price we were paying. We got more toppings on the pizza @ the pizza cookery than we did here. My Son had the shrimp alfredo. I tried it & it was good. It was a good size por- tion dish. Not to big, not to small but just ... read more

Go on a Monday or Tuesday – This place is amazing and I have yet to be disappointed. The restaurant is a cute Italian setting. Don't sit outside, stay inside because it's much nicer. The outside patio is small and a little awkward. The restaurant looks small from the outside, but it's actually two stories inside. Everything they serve is in pretty big portions, so you're easily full from any of their entrees. On Mondays and Tuesdays they have a Dinner for 2 special. You get a big dish of spaghetti, a pizza, and a pitcher of ... read more
