These people showed no compassion when I went to my first appointment. I was 10 minutes late by their clock and Johnnie Waataja instructed them to tell me to come back in 3 hours. There were only 3 people in the waiting room. To give them something they can lie about or maybe make them giggle, I would rather die than have ANY more dealings with this cold hearted office.

After waiting three months for an appointment, Dr. Waataja’s office rescheduled me for an additional four months out just days before my visit. The delay was due to a scheduling oversight on the doctor's part regarding vacation time. The lack of communication was the most frustrating part—no phone call or attempt to fit me in sooner. I transferred my referral to a different practice, was seen in three weeks, and had a great experience. Save yourself the eight-month wait and go elsewhere.

Johnnie is 24 kt gold. She and Dr. Mayes, were the greatest team in Charlotte. Johnnie is the only PA that I've ever trusted, equally, to a doctor. She's phenomenal.

This office needs some scheduling assistance. They are very slow. They ask you to arrive 15 minutes early. You will be in a room for 30 or more minutes last your appointment.
