Once a fire station and then a bank, this historic Marietta site has been converted into MacCracken's, an Irish pub with two bars, a bustling front dining room, cozy lounging rooms and outdoor dining in a courtyard. The old bank vault is still there, though now it holds beer instead of money. The waitress straight came up to US and said what? Can i help you? ... not a way to treat paying costumers. Will not return. Horrible place!!!
I was charged for drinks I did not order twice by the same bartender. I gave my information to be contacted by a manager, however, the bartender who over charged me got my information and proceeded to text to me. It was utterly unprofessional. I made several attempts to resolve the issue but it seems there is actually no manager. I urge any person who goes to this pub to review your tabs. Great times here. Very cool building turned pub with a good selection on tap. Food surprisingly good also...even sober. Corned Beef was excellent.
come in and have fun fun fun!! dave and drew regularly rock the house. thursday is alterna-karaoke! great pub feel on historic marietta square!
