This is not a big box hardware store where you usually have to fend for yourself. You receive service from employees who understand what you need and can explain why a particular item is best for your situation. Checkout is fast and all employees are friendly. Best of all, parking is usually available at the front curb near the entrance!

I’ve followed The Happy Handy- man column for years and always found it superb in screening out many cleaning and hardware products available to pinpoint the really good ones. But only recently did my wife and I drop by the store. My wife likes to find fault with every business she enters-always sees how they could do it better. Not here! It was an absolute delight. Very clean & orderly, especially for a hardware store. Very helpful, well informed staff and not at all high priced. Great overall!

I live far from Chuoke,s, but I still go there, and recommend it. Staff answers all my questions and treats me nice. One time they even ordered an item for me, that they didn't sell anymore, but saw that I really wanted one. That's service for you !
