It was a pleasant roomy waiting area. The staff were very quick to get you back to a room. Dr. Bernard was very pleasant and attentive to my questions and concerns. He explained that his expertise was not what I needed for my particular break which requires surgery. However, he contacted his associate that does specialize in what I needed. Dr. Shrek contacted us personally the same day and introduced himself to us. It was a great experience at OrthoVirginia.
Rush rush rush. Quantity over quality. 1st appointment. Dr. Bernard was at least half an hour late. I didn't so much mind that he was late to the appointment, because I understand that I'm not his only patient. He then spent about 10 minutes with me. This part I mind. Toward the end of the 10 minutes, he did not talk about the medication that he was prescribing to me. He left the room. Someone else came into the room with the medication order. Dr. Bernard is a highly trained professional and fully explained my situation after reviewing my MRI and X-rays. He is very confident & friendly and his staff is extremely helpful with all elements associated with my visit.
