I went to Portland after my MRI in Bar Harbor Showed that I had a tethered spinal Cord, so I wanted to go to Portland for a second opinion and to get surgery done for this problem. I was told I had arachnoiditis, which can be very painful problem for the rest of your life. I was terrified after I read what I was going to be feeling as time went by. Had surgery in 2011 and have never regretted it, excellent surgeon. Kind gentle understanding and is very professional.
Very glad to get in to see Dr Wahlig again. He did a great job repairing a surgical disc years ago and I made a full and complete recovery in a job that is best classified as n Industrial Athlete!! I have had a lingering back injury for 4 years due to an accident and I never realized that the awesome doctor worked on the lower spine!! I am very sure that my recovery from these on-going injuries can be corrected with the Good Doctors help. I am thankful 🙏 for his staff being so incredible and helpful also!!
